Bing’s traffic is much less than Google’s, but it’s still quite a lot. Bing received about 1.2 billion visitors in May 2022, according to Statista data.

You’re more likely to get search engine traffic if your blog is optimized for search engines. If you don’t optimize your blog, the chances of you getting search engine traffic are lower.

The practice of optimizing your site for search engines is called “Search Engine Optimization.” It’s commonly abbreviated as SEO.

SEO can seem complicated at first. There are tons of factors that can affect your site’s ranking. And there is a lot of debate among SEO experts, as no one knows the exact algorithm of the search engines.

One social media platform that is blogger-friendly is Pinterest. While it’s not as popular as Facebook or Twitter, it has a fair amount of traffic. According to Statista data, Pinterest received 945.3 million visits in May 2022.

What’s interesting about Pinterest is that it’s a hybrid between social media and a visual search engine. Many Pinterest users search for content by using keywords in their search bar.

So, unlike on Facebook or Twitter where you usually get a burst of traffic that dies after posting, you can get long-term traffic on Pinterest.

A blog can help you build your email list

You probably already know the benefits of having an email list. Having an email list allows you to actively reach out to your subscribers.
